: Similar to [], the data presented here were collected for surveillance and public health reasons, not research, in the context of a national public health threat.The active case finding system was an essential surveillance activity of the epidemic response, carried out by the Ministry of Health and partners. Ethical approval was not sought for this activity, nor was consent requested from the patients whose information was collected for that purpose.No identifying information was collected for individuals not considered alert cases. Identifying information was recorded for alert cases so they could be contacted as part of the epidemic response. A de-identified data set of the alert cases that arose from the active case finding system was created prior to and used for the analyses presented here.
