Ethics approval and consent to participate
: During hospital stay, all patients were informed that they would be included in the SRIE. The participation in the registry is voluntary and all patients had the possibility to refuse their participation in the registry, without any consequences.This particular study did not imply any risks for the patients since it did not affect the patient or cause any changes in their treatments or care. As this was a retrospective registry-based study, there was no need for any additional consent. Data obtained from the SRIE did not include any personal ID-information.The study was approved by the Regional Ethics Review Board, Stockholm, Sweden (diary number K 2018–6018).
