: The study protocol v1.1, 19 Aug 2020 received ethical approval from the Biomedical Research Ethics Committee of the University of KwaZulu-Natal (BREC/1531/2020), the Research Governance and Ethics Committee of the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (ER/BSMS9B5G/4) and the KwaZulu-Natal Health Research Committee (KZ_202008_092). Written informed consent will be obtained from research nurses who will be the recipient of the quality improvement package prior to inclusion in the study. Data from routine health records will be used to ascertain study outcomes, hence a waiver of individual written consent from patients for a review of their clinical records is approved by the ethics committees.
