: Ethical approval was obtained from Departmental Research and Ethics Review Committee (DRERC) of the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Addis Ababa University (protocol number- DRERC/545/20/MLS), Additionally, EPHI wrote a support letter to the study health facilities. During the data collection process, the data collectors informed managers and study participants at study health facilities about the objective and anticipated benefits of the researchincluding the fact that they have full right to refuse, withdraw or completely reject part or all of their participation in the study. Written informed consent on the use of data with full anonymity was obtained from the voluntary participants. Blood samples used for the preparation of plasma PT- DTSs were not traceable to their origin. With regard to the testing site or testing personnel, any information that has been associated to either of the two, has been delinked from the final data set.
