: The UVRI Research and Ethics Committee (GC/127/13/03/18), Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (HS 767), and CDC Institutional Review Board approved the study. All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. Participants were enrolled after providing informed written consent. Participation by those aged 2 to 17 years and those otherwise unable to provide informed consent required written permission from parents or legal guardians. In addition, patients aged 7 to 17 years assented to be included in the study. Patient confidentiality was maintained throughout the study. All records were securely stored at study clinics and UVRI. Personal identifiers were not included in the database. Electronic study records were stored on password-protected computer systems, and all study records were maintained in locked offices on secured institutional compounds.
