: Declarations under principles of Helsinki and the Ethiopian National Research Ethics guideline were maintained in the research process []. Data collection was done after obtaining ethical clearance letter from the Hawassa University Institutional Review Board (IRB) of a college of Medicine and Health Sciences Reference number IRB 065/14, and a support letter from Sidama Regional State Health Bureau and Dale District Health Office and Yirgalem Town Health Office. Formal letter of permission was provided to each Health facility. Informed consent was obtained from all study subjects. Participants were informed that participation was on voluntary basis, they have full right to refuse participation or withdraw from the study at any stage of the interview, without losing any of their rights of receiving TB care in the facilities and they were not forced to stay in the study. Confidentiality of patient information was secured. Data were collected anonymously.
