: KKY has 6 years of experience working with HEV and has utilized the immunosuppressed pig animal model to understand the pathology of HEV ribavirin resistant mutant viruses. SPK has more than 14 years of experience working with HEV and has been awarded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) to study the pathogenesis of ribavirin resistant mutants in an immunosuppressed pig model. KKY and SPK have experiences with various animal models including but not limited to pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, mice, and hamsters.
