: This study was approved by the Mzuzu University Faculty of Health Sciences Ethics Review Committee (Ethical Clearance Number FOHS/REC/21/029). This study was carried out in compliance with the Helsinki declaration. Permission to access raw data was granted by the Zomba Central Hospital Research Ethics Review Committee. Consent to participate in the study was not obtained since this was a retrospective study dealing with patient’s records. Nevertheless, the patient’s data was anonymized through the use of serial numbers.
