: The Ethical clearance was obtained from the School of Biomedical and Laboratory Sciences, College of Medicine and Health Science, University of Gondar ethical committee. In addition, permission was obtained from the previous principal investigator and the current owner of the stored samples to reanalyze the samples. Informed written consent for long-term storage of samples and their use in future research was taken from patients by the previous researcher. Robust data management practices were implemented to safeguard the integrity and security of the data. This included secured storage, restricted access to authorized personnel only, and regular data audits to detect and rectify discrepancies. Electronic data were stored in password-protected databases, and physical data were stored in locked cabinets. Backup systems were in place to prevent data loss. This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki.
