: The Study was approved by the ethics committee of Makerere School of Biomedical Sciences Research Ethics Committee (SBSREC) under research registration numbers SBS-2022-270. The SBSREC approved a waiver of consent to use stored patient isolates and data for this study to ensure the privacy rights of the patient data used. Administrative approval to access isolates and data of this study was sought from the management of the National Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory. All the data collected for this study was fully anonymized, with no patient name revelations throughout the data collection and analysis phase.
