: Ethical approval to conduct the study was obtained from the National Health Science Research Committee (NHSRC) (Approval number 23/11/4048). We sought permission to evaluate the data from the Public Health Institute of Malawi (a directorate under the Ministry of Health), the NMRL, and health facilities from which the data originated. Informed consent forms for participants were not necessary since the data was not obtained directly from patients and the data did not involve interventions or interactions with patients.
