: This was a study based on open data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN), a public government available by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Following the Resolution N° 510/20216 by National Health Brazilian Council, it is not mandatory studies based on open data be approved by the Research Ethics Committee.
