: Ethical clearance for the study was obtained from the Uniosun Teaching Hospital Research and Ethics Committee. The study involved the use of secondary data anonymously retrieved from the blood bank records and did not involve any direct interaction with individual participants. The Ethics Committee waived the requirement for informed consent, given the retrospective nature of the study and the use of anonymized data. In addition, permission to access and use the data was granted by the Head of the Blood Bank Unit at Uniosun Teaching Hospital. All procedures were conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional research committee and the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki.
