: The study was conducted after obtaining ethical clearance from the Department of Internal Medicine Research and Ethics Committee and institutional review board (IRB) of the College of Health Sciences, Addis Ababa University, with protocol number 135/24 and meeting number 48/23. Based on IRB permission, all the participants (were aged >/= 18years) in the study were also given written informed consent in Amharic language after being fully informed. The participants were informed that any information they provided would remain confidential, and that their names would not be mentioned. The participants’ identities and privacy were protected, and confidentiality was ensured by removing their names from the informed consent form. The right of the patients to decline to participate in the study was maintained. All methods and materials used in this study were in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.
