: The protocol of this study conformed to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the human research ethics committee of Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention (W96-027E-202518). The outbreak investigation was conducted under the statutory public health mandate in compliance with China CDC’s Technical Guidelines for Norovirus Infection Outbreak Management (2015 Edition) during an emergent response.
