: Permission was sought to use routinely generated TB surveillance data from the Ministry of Health - Uganda. The data provided was already aggregated and did not have any individual patient details hence there was no requirement for patient informed consent. There was no need for ethics approval because aggregated data was used and no human subjects were involved.
