: This study design was reported to the Ethics Committee of Marmara University School of Medicine and was conducted with the approval of Marmara University Department of Neonatology (Decision No. 09.2023.1107). All of the precipitants or their parents were informed about this study, and next-of-kin of all the patients gave informed consent for their child’s participation and anonymized use of their clinical data in the study. All study protocols conformed to the Declaration of Helsinki. Preparation of the text complied with the guidelines for outbreak reports, and intervention studies of nosocomial infection.
