: The University of Exeter Ethical Committee approved and monitored this study (Approval number: 202021-018). Written informed consent was obtained from healthcare workers and administrators participants. Oral informed consent from the participants who were pregnant women and recent mothers, their partners and the traditional midwives was obtained by following a script and recorded as voice or text messages. Oral informed-consent was sought due to the mistrust that some ethnic groups have regarding signing documents and the large number of scams occurring in Colombia via WhatsApp and mobile phones.
