: We obtained ethical approval from the Oyo State Ethics Research Committee [approval number AD/13/479/1768]. In our study, we performed a retrospective analysis of routine pharmacovigilance/surveillance data, including pediatric data, from the national pharmacovigilance centre database, in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. However, the need for informed consent to participate, as well as the need to obtain consent from the parents or legal guardians of minors, was waived by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) because it was deemed unnecessary under national regulations. The data was anonymised and stored on a password-protected device accessible only to the researchers.
