: Ethical clearance was obtained from Institutional Health Research Ethics Review Committee (IHRERC), Somali Regional Health Bureau. Official support letter was written to the selected Hospitals (the study area). Informed voluntary written and signed consent was obtained from the chief executive officers of the study Hospitals, and signed consent and assent could not obtained from the patients since the study was retrospective and only patients’ cards and registers were used. Any information about the data was kept confidential. The study also adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki.
