: The study was conducted in strict accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. The data utilized in this study were derived from routinely collected public health surveillance and electronic health records. Under national and regional public health policies aimed at achieving the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets, HIV testing is routinely integrated into clinical care, pre-marital check-ups, and health screenings across healthcare facilities. These tests are conducted based on a national policy-driven “opt-out” testing principle. The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of West China School of Public Health and West China Fourth Hospital, Sichuan University (Approval No. Gwll2022063). The requirement for informed consent was waived by the Ethics Committee of West China School of Public Health and West China Fourth Hospital, Sichuan University, as this study involved the retrospective analysis of routinely collected public health surveillance data, and all participant information was de-identified and rigorously protected.
