Ethical approval and considerations: The study protocol obtained ethical clearance from the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NaTHREC) under the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) Research and Ethics Committee with IRB number NIMR/HQ/R.8a/Vol.IX/4675. Permission for data collection was obtained from Bukoba RRH. Since this study used secondary data, the informed consent for the participant to participate in this study was waived by the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NaTHREC). The patient’s file names and registration numbers were removed from the database after retrieving information from the system to make the study participants anonymous. After analysis, report writing and publication, patient information was removed from all sources (paper and computer) and was destroyed. The study was conducted per the Declaration of Helsinki.
