: This retrospective study involving human participants was also in accordance with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. This study also complies with the “Ethical Guidelines for Medical and Health Research Involving Human Subjects” by Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW). The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Ehime University Hospital (Approval No: 2104006) and was performed in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. The study information was described on the hospital and laboratory website, and participants were provided with the opportunity to opt out. Informed consent was not obtained from the enrolled patients because it was waived by the IRB of Ehime University Hospital and was deemed unnecessary according to the “Ethical Guidelines for Medical and Health Research Involving Human Subjects” by Japanese MHLW.
