: This study was a secondary analysis of the de-identified, publicly available Head-Neck-PET-CT collection from The Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA) (DOI: 10.7937/K9/TCIA.2017.8oje5q00). The collection of the original patient data was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and with ethics approval from the respective institutional review boards of the contributing institutions (Research Ethics Committee of McGill University Health Center, Protocol Number: MM-JGH-CR15-50). In accordance with our institution’s policies and applicable regulations, research based solely on the analysis of existing, de-identified public data is exempt from formal Institutional Review Board (IRB) review. Therefore, IRB approval and informed consent for this specific study were waived. All data were used in compliance with TCIA’s Data Usage Policies.
