: This study was conducted based on the Helsinki Declaration and the study protocol, consent forms and participant information material were reviewed and approved by the Committee on Human Right Publication and Ethics OF Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, School of Medical Sciences (CHRPE/AP/103/16). Permission was sought from the research facility of Bono Regional hospital before commencement of the study.Written informed consent of individual participants was sought after the aims, benefits, risk and right of withdrawal at any time from the study were well explained to the study participants in English and in the local dialect (mostly Twi) and their consent was obtained.Data was presented in such a way that no individual can be identified. All the methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.Educated participants signed to give their consent, before the commencement of the study and they were assured of the confidentiality of their data. For Non-Literate participants, the witness (A family member, friend etc.) certifies that the oral information given in the local dialect is a true reflection of what have been read from the study Participant Information Leaflet attached. The participant, participants legally accepted healthcare decision maker and the witness then signs or thumb-print the consent form in accordance with standards approved by the CHRPE of School of Medicine, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
