: This retrospective observational study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Medical Faculty of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (Approval Number FF55/2018). The requirement for informed consent was waived due to the use of anonymized data and the non-interventional retrospective study design. All procedures were conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments. The approved protocol covered retrospective analyses of routinely collected clinical data, including renal outcomes (occurrence, timing, and severity of acute kidney injury) and short-term clinical outcomes such as in-hospital mortality, renal replacement therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
