Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The study will be conducted in accordance with the ethical principles that have their origin in the Declaration of Helsinki, 1996; the principles of Good Clinical Practice and the UK policy framework for health and social care research 2017. People participated with fully informed, written consent. Consent was obtained by the therapist at the screening session. The study protocol, participant information sheet and enrolment procedures were assessed and approved through the National Research Ethics Scheme (NRES Committee South West REC reference number 18/SW/0145); Health Research Authority and the Research and Development departments of the participating centres in accordance with NHS research governance arrangements. Any amendment to the protocol and patient-facing documents will be reported to and approved by the sponsor and via NRES.
