Declarations
:
: The study has been approved by the London Dulwich Research Ethics Committee, Health Research Authority and Health and Care Research Wales (19/LO/0272). All eligible participants will be invited to provide fully informed written consent, verbal consent (for those who cannot provide written consent due to mobility difficulties or if verbal consent is being obtained by telephone or videoconference due to COVID-19 related restrictions), or consent via the use of a communication aid to participate in the trial, in line with Sheffield CTRU’s SOPs and as approved by the ethical approval bodies noted above. An independent witness will be asked to sign the consent form to verify the consent taken in all cases where non-written consent is obtained in-person. In cases where verbal consent is obtained by telephone or videoconference, the conversation regarding consent will be audio recorded using an encrypted digital voice recorder, with the potential participant's agreement.
