: The study was approved by a local ethics committee, specifically the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Dnr 2020–04996). All participants in the survey provided informed consent by submitting the completed questionnaire. Individuals with MS included in the Swedish MS Registry had previously provided consent to their neurologist for their data to be entered into the registry for both clinical and research purposes. This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
