The Queensland Health approved the Public Health Act (PHA) application for the collection of birth data. The birth data used in this study came from the Queensland Health Statistics Centre. The air pollution and the climate data were provided by the Department of Environment and Resource Management and the Australia Bureau of Meteorology, respectively.
