Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Participating midwives gave written informed consent for the anonymous use of their LVR1 practice registration numbers, thereby conforming to privacy regulations of the Perined registry who gave permission for the use of the database for this analysis. Because of its non-invasive nature, this type of research does not require further ethical approval in the Netherlands.
