: A secondary analysis was conducted using the 2014 Ghana Demographic and Health Survey (GDHS), a publicly available data from the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) program website. The 2014 GDHS obtained ethical approval from the GHS Ethical Review Committee, Ghana, and the ethical review board of ICF Macro International, Maryland, USA. Also, written informed consent was obtained from each participant before enrolment into the survey. For this study, ethical approval was received from the University of Cape Town Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC).
