: This quality improvement project was part of a service evaluation to improve the standards of the care within the GDM service. It was registered with the Oxford University Hospital Trust Maternity Departmental Clinical Governance Committee on 8/03/2019 code 5409 allowing for the collection and analysis of data and service user and staff feedback. This article describes the development of a smartphone application in relation to a quality improvement project.
