: Ethics approval was granted by The Prince Charles Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee, Brisbane, Australia on 3<sup>rd</sup> September 2019 [HREC/19/TPCH/53395]. Subsequent approval was granted by the Hospital Research Governance on the 17<sup>th</sup> September 2019 [SSA/19/QNR/53395]. The project was also approved by The Human Research Committee of QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute [P3520]. All methods of the study adhered to the ethical principles of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007). Written informed consent was obtained from participants at all data collection points in the study; pregnancy and postpartum surveys and again if a telephone interview was completed.
