: The study received ethical approval from the Makerere University School of Public Health Higher Degrees, Research and Ethics Committee (HDREC) (Protocol number: <b>534</b>), and registered by the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST). Permission to conduct the study was also obtained from the district health teams and local authorities. Prior to participation, participants provided written informed consent after the research assistants read an informed consent document to them in either English or the local language.
