: With the reference number of ERC- 1516/ 2020, study approval was obtained from institutional ethics review board of Mekelle University College of health science health. Official letters of permission were obtained from Tigray regional health bureau and each of the selected public hospitals. Written informed consent was obtained from all study subjects and for those study participants who were under the age of 18 years, written informed consent was taken from their parents and all participants were informed about the risks and benefits of the study and participation was based on their willingness and they have the right to terminate at any time. Confidentiality and privacy of participants were assured throughout the study. All study methods were carried out in accordance with the Helsinki declaration, national guidelines and regulations.
