: This study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Jigjiga University, Jigjiga, Eastern EthiopIa [HRERC/088/2022]. Written permission was secured from the relevant authorities of the study settings, including Sultan Sheik Hassan Yabare Comprehensive Specialized Hospital and Karamara General Hospital. Informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to data collection. For participants under 18 years of age, written assent was obtained from their and consent from their guardian. The data collectors were instructed to maintain patient confidentiality throughout the data collection process. To ensure the confidentiality of participants, personal identifiers such as names were not used, and codes were employed instead. Participants were informed of their right to refuse or terminate participation at any point during the interview.
