: No ethical review and approval, as well as consent to participate, were required, as this secondary analysis didn’t involve study subjects. In addition, the Public Health Act (2012) of Ghana mandates the Ghana Health Service to maintain surveillance data, which exempts this study. However, we obtained administrative permission from the Savannah Regional Health Directorate to extract the data from DHIMS 2 for this study.
