: The study proposal was approved by the Institutional Ethical Review Board of the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Yaoundé 1 (N o 219/2021/UY1/FMSB/VDRC/DAASR/CSD). The CHY Director issued administrative authorization for the study (N o 322/2021/AR/MINSANTE/SG/DHCY/CM/SM). In this study, participants aged 21 and older provided written, free, and informed consent. For participants under 21, both their assent and the written consent of their legal representative were obtained. All actions taken were in accordance with the ethical principles outlined in the October 2024 revision of the Declaration of Helsinki and the November 2016 Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) guidelines.
