: The research project was approved by the Regional Ethical Committee for Health Research, region South-East D with the reference number 594756. The study was also approved by the Data Protection Officer at Innlandet Hospital Trust with the reference number 24334587. Data were extracted from our regional quality assurance data registry (IPD). Detailed information regarding maternal health, pregnancy, delivery, and the early postpartum period is recorded by midwives and doctors in a digital medical record and directly transferred to the IPD without modification structured quality assurance data. Refrainment from subsequent additional obtainment of written consent of included women in this retrospective study was approved by the Regional Ethical Committee for Health Research, region South-East D under the prerequisite that all data was anonymized and further that all data handling and analyses did not generate subgroups of less than five individuals.
