: In this framework of a stepped-wedge cluster-randomized trial and in accordance with the legislation all patients will be informed that the study is taking place in the department by notices (posted in the maternity units and neonatology departments) and by an individual information note provided to patients at admission or during the mother or child’s hospitalization (in level 1, 2 or 3) or in the level 3 in case of neonatal transfer. At the child's discharge from the hospital, both parents will be asked to non opposite to the continuation of the child's participation and to the data collection at a corrected age of 2 years.The lack of objection must be documented in the medical file. The information will be done by the maternity of the level 1 and 2 before transfer or by the level 3 if the woman is already hospitalized in a level 3.The trial protocol was approved by the Committee for Protection of Persons Involved in Biomedical Research (CPP Ile de France V, Hôpital Saint-Antoine, 75012 PARIS), and the French Data Protection Authority (30/12/2021, N°21.03700000050-MS02). The computer file used for this research is implemented in accordance with French (amended “Informatique et Libertés” law governing data protection) and European (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) regulations (decision DR-2023–173 on 31 st august 2023). The trial is registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (December 20, 2021—NCT05248477).
