: All patients will be required to provide written informed consent. The study is performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and the Japanese ethical guidelines for medical and health research involving human subjects. The protocol was approved by the IRB at each study site (Shizuoka Cancer Center, National Cancer Center Hospital East, Miyagi Cancer Center, Tohoku University, Nara Medical University, Kobe University, Cancer Institute Hospital, Hyogo Cancer Center, Aichi Cancer Center, Hokkaido University) as well as by the J-Support Protocol Review Committee. The protocol was the third edition as of January 2018.
