Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) Research Subjects Review Board (RSRB) approved this study for IRB exemption due to the retrospective analysis of human breast tumor samples from the URMC archived samples under the RSRB case study number RSRB00069450. We received exemption based upon HIPAA regulations pertaining to the de-identified data used for the study, and all human tissue samples were reviewed and analyzed so that no sample were to be exhausted for our uses. The data used for the results and analysis posed minimal to no risk to patients whose tissue was utilized for the study.
