: Ethics approval has been obtained from the Ethics Committee at Capital Region (H-19031814, version 20, date: 2<sup>nd</sup> June 2020) and the study is prospectively registered at clinicaltrails.gov (NCT04263467). The full registry name is ‘High Intensity Aerobic exercise training and Immune cell Mobilization in patients with lung cancer (HI AIM)’. Any changes in the protocol will be reported to e.g. the Ethics Committee at Capital Region by the Primary Investigator and/or Sponsor of the study. Informed verbal and written consent will be obtained for all participants before inclusion in the study. Potentially positive, negative, or inconclusive results from the HI AIM study will be published in relevant international peer-reviewed journals.
