: Animal ethics: Study protocol of porcine lymph node usage was approved by the University of Oulu Laboratory Animal Centre KEKS (internal licenses 14/2017, 26/2019). The original experimental study protocol was reviewed and approved by the National Animal Experiment Board of Finland (ESAVI/6941/04.10.07/2016). The animal transport, husbandry, and experimental procedures were performed in compliance with the national legislation (Act 497/2013 and Decree 564/2013) on the protection of animals used for scientific or educational purposes and the EU directive 2010/63/EU. The methods are reported in accordance with ARRIVE guidelines for the reporting of animal experiments. The animals were purchased for the original study from a contract breeder (Aprakka Oy, Utajärvi, Finland) providing pigs for Oulu Laboratory Animal Centre. In the original experiment, animals were sedated with midazolam 0.2 mg/kg and ketamine 10 mg/kg combination. Anesthesia was induced with fentanyl (50 µg) and maintained with sevoflurane (1-1.5%) and infusion of fentanyl and midazolam. After surgical operations and experiment, the animals were euthanized with pentobarbital-Na 60 mg/kg. The methods are reported in accordance with ARRIVE guidelines for the reporting of animal experiments.Human ethics: We follow the principles of good scientific practice according to the Declaration of Helsinki, the Finnish Advisory Board on Research Integrity (ExternalRef removed) and The National Advisory Board on Social Welfare and Health Care Ethics (ExternalRef removed). Experimental protocols on human leiomyoma tissue were approved by the Ethics Committee of the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District, Finland (2/2017). Collection and experimental protocols of oral cancer samples and lymph node tissue was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District, Finland (31/2016). All patient samples were collected after informed consent.
