: The National Institute of Pathology has its agreements with the various hospitals listed in this study (Ain Wazein Hospital, Haroun Hospital, Dahr El Bachek Hospital, MEIH, AUH, CHN, Mazloum Hospital) enabling the collection of patient data related to tumor staging and patient characteristics. The National Institute of Pathology does not issue official ethical approval letters, yet we were given their permission to access their medical system and collect data as needed. An informed consent was not required from the patients as the data was considered the property of the National Institute of Pathology and can be used to conduct needed studies. The need for ethical approval and written informed consent was waived by the National Institute of Pathology’s ethics committee/ IRB due to retrospective nature of the study. After all, the data retrieved from the center’s medical system was treated with confidentiality and stored properly so that no one could have access to the files other than the researchers conducting this study.
