: This report contributes to the mapping of RNA-RNA interactions (RRIs) by a newly established RNA in situ conformation sequencing (RIC-seq) technology in adenoma-carcinoma transition of human colorectal cancer (CRC). A lot of unexpected but interesting phenomena about RRIs in CRC were firstly revealed, including multiple partners RNAs, single partner RNA, homophilic RNA interactions among same family genes. The focused investigation on one antisense RNA OIP5-AS1 further shows a novel metabolic reprogramming mechanism of pyruvate.
