: The State Cancer Registry has the task of continuously processing data concerning the treatment and clinical course of cancer as well as evaluating and making these data available for the purpose of cancer treatment [(State Cancer Registry Act of Baden Württemberg, Section 1 []]. In addition, the Clinical State Cancer Registry can provide anonymized and aggregated data and evaluations for the purpose of health services research (State Cancer Registry Act of Baden Württemberg, Section 6 []). There was never any access to raw data for external parties. The data is processed exclusively in the Clinical Register Office and discussed in anonymized and aggregated form. Ethical review and approval were waived for this study, due to the deidentified information of the patients included in the BW-database.This study adheres to the relevant guidelines according to the Declaration of Helsinki.
