Owing to the retrospective nature of this study, the requirements for informed consent and consent to participate were waived using the opt-out method on our website. The latest guidelines in Japan allow the use of clinical information for observational studies using an opt-out model []. A waiver of informed consent was granted by the Institutional Review Board of Kitakyushu Municipal Medical Center.
