As this is a retrospective study that does not involve any intervention in the treatment of patients, nor increase the treatment cost of patients, and does not study any identifiable individual characteristics of patients, SCCHEC is authorized to waive the need for filling in the informed consent form. The Ethics Committee of Meishan Cancer Hospital also recognized and endorsed this approval number, allowing for the collection of patient samples and data at both institutions.
